Family Stories

My approach to family photography is to have a lot of fun! It's also to capture that image of everyone looking at the camera and smiling nicely a few times!! My goal is to take photographs that feel like your family, no long and awkward poses and definitely lots of laughter and play! Family photography is the one genre of photography where I feel my 10 years of being a teacher can really come in handy. It's nice to know when children need a little run-around break. The great part about the runaround break is that is often when I get lots of candids- which tend to be everyone's favorite pictures! Family sessions can be done on location or in the comfort of your own home.
